Recap, Reflect, Resolute 2006 / 2007

Recap

1) Went to HK in May, Batam in mar and in nov
2) I got a baby niece (sister's daughter), 1 baby cousin, 1 nephew (cousin's son)
2) Finally see Vivian after 9 years and to be able to watch her sing 'live'. 2 letters from her
3) Mum and Aunti Kim and Aunti Yin came to church with me. Said sinner's prayer. Salvation
is near!
4) Nana's grade for English, Maths and Chinese improved.
5)Made new friends from Republic Poly, Explomo, Friend's friend, and through the interest of vivian chow.

Reflect

Times are really flying like aeroplane.. was actually sick from the period of 15- 19 nov.. cough, sore thoat,flu,gastric flu,fever, vomit, diarreoa and i actually fainted in the toilet in the middle of the night.. i felt this is an area which i am careless despite my effort to be careful about health.. the 4 days in bed shall serve as a reminder that not to take my health for granted..

same to all my beloved ones out there..please take care of yourself.. Perhaps same..you would like to ask yourself whether :

1)have u drink enough water?
2) have you got enought sleep? and quality one?
3) did u exercise?
4) did u detox your body on regular basis?
5) do u have a good diet with the neccessary nutrients?
6) are you stress?
7) are you happy?
8) do you love yourself?

Resolute

Coming to the end of 2006, and a welcome of 2007, i wish that all my friends and loved ones will be blessed, health and joy be theirs in Jesus name.

My 2nd day in school / Tact Party

Today is the 2nd last day of 2006..and now is 9.33am in the morning..my friends were all sleeping i guess ..

Party:
came back from company party last night.. Thank God i still managed to squeeze some clothes out for the event with the theme of 'black, white or glitter'.. (the day before i was troubled by what to wear with the relunctance of buying new clothes for it.. :p) Finally my leg can rest from all the heels and sharp pointed covered shoe which limits oxygen to my toes.. :p
3 blisters at least..

so glad to see my fellow ccpe friends and manager at the party after knocking off .. I realised that i miss some of them in the HQ as i have officially reported to school. miss lunching with them, miss the milo and snacks made or bought from some of them, miss playing cash flow game, miss slacking together in the office with them, miss the training program assignment given by my manager..

Everyone looks good yesterday and was in high spirit.. and i realised more about what kind of party goer am i .. am the sort who went in to a party will chat with everyone in general, before putting my bag down..after which i will place my belonging in a corner to settle in the environment.. after which, will look for closer friends among the groups for a good catch up and update..then in the midst of it, join the happening crowd on and off with 50% participation.. then go back to a smaller group of friends..then half and 15 min to half an hour later, will check out the happening among the happenings.

some managers and friend were asking me to dance..but guess i was a bit shy coz i felt that those who hit the dance floor could really dance well.. so i better run when neccessary.. i told them 'i am just greatly entertained upon seeing u guys dance'..well they replied, 'yr turn to entertained us!' well on the other hand i thought might go and learn some social/ modern dance if i got the free time.. its a good sport.

realised another thing.. some malays can really dance shake bom bom, and some married woman at the age of 40s and above are still so happening.. one of them even intend to go to devil's bar after the party.. whereas some of the chinese in 20s just sit and watch..and i guess i am one of them..

party is from 6pm to 11pm international plaza level 13. i left the place at about 10.30pm and headed allson hotel at bugis waiting for my mum to knock off and go home together..

After all the fun partying and warm and noisy happenings, i want to be in the presence of my mummy and to be sitting in a corner of the hotel enjoying the silence.. well wat a child i still ami realised.. imagine a friday night! i guess most young people will party all the way.. (on the other hand my leg kept complaining)

2nd day in school:

today is the same.. There were nothing much to do and the HOD seemed pai seh that he has nothing concrete yet.. anyway quite a jovial guy and i met my principal today..

anyway i only did the follwing for the whole day:

-potocopy material for staff meetings..
-supervise student counciler to put things into folder.
-attend staff mtg (from 2pm to 5.40pm)

school was so big that i dunno where is the toilet some times..and ya the water cooler too on my first day.. anyway i went to this west coast hawker nearby for my lunch.. looks good..going to explore it further in the coming days.. anyone who been there care to recommend what are the nice food..?

the day was good for me..did under more about the school and did enjoyed company party.

After all, glad to know so many friends after the batam trip.. everyone were stranger to one another at first.. hopefully, we could be a pillar of support to each other in the journey of ccpe..

I have finally learn how to take order.. yo!! but i make a mistake that resulted a dark face from my manager.. i made a wrong order which wasted a fish from company.. i told my manager that i am willing to compensate the fish by not taking a staff meal, meaning not taking meuniere fish next week for my staff meal.. she remarked , ' do i look like i am really so ji jiao..its ok lah.da jia you de chi jiu chi or something like that..'' I felt a bit warm hearing upon her words somehow..

i meant to leave shortly after my full time work and tuition for my cousin start.. but never underestimate the power of a nice boss.. it encourages loyalty from staff.. at the same time i am getting to know my colleagues there better.. well, will see..

I am looking forward to a couple of things..

1) the batam trip which my company organised as part of training
2) my work as a co-curriculum executive
3) tuition for my dear cousin na na
4) Christmas
5) A Happy New year

In remembrance

This is a late entry in remembrance of my beauty model and perhaps a long lost friend..

I am so surprised to know that she would be in Singapore in early november when I knew that i will not be able to see her on 12 nov. Its a pleasant surprise..

She reached spore on 2 November, and i managed to see her on 3, 4 and 5 november. That was a close encounter.. did successfully gave her the things i want to give except a coffee cake which my friend has bought..

I told her that I can't see her in nov, she say its ok..can go then go, cannot its ok..

Before she board the flight back to hk, she commented that i have changed so much over the years ( i guess its 12 years) and have grown up and said she remembers all these.. i was really contented and was thankful to God.. and suddenly it occurs to me that having a personal pix with her are not so important after all.. (i din take a pix with her this time..)

I am also very happy to meet up with a group of friends.. seldom do we spend such long hours together since everyone is working and busy..

After miss beauty model went back to hk, we were all happily tired for the day..

To me, y is she a beauty model partly because she is such simple person..that inspired me.
(perhaps i felt most of the mei nui nowadays are so complicated..hahaha)

Once upon a time (1)

Once upon a time, there was a poor princess. She met a few people from her royal kingdom.
Two princesses and one high post rank officer and she worked for them. They were very nice to her, and on a unbelivable level. The poor princess does'nt have to work, no one scolded her in the midst of her work..

The poor princess was lost..she felt insecured but she has her fair share of materialistic thoughts.. as she has never got such good deal before. good pay, good working time, nice boss, nice colleagues, less working load without having to really put in effort..

One day, it was revealed to the poor princess that the two senior princesses were fake, and the high post rank officer was also fake.. and it seems to her that everyone was fake..

After some struggles with her thoughts, she hoped she can forgive the people around her.. She is not sure whether is she able to do that. But she will try and she hopes that one day she is able to smile and chat with them from the bottom of her heart..

Ultimately, she left the fake royal kingdom.. because she wanted to be rich with the labour of her own hands.. and she believes in the theory of reap and sow. and she knew her secured position in the royal kingdom and her daddy is waiting for her although she dunno when..and she will be a rich princess in a real royal kingdom..!!

I love this princess!! And may everyone enter a real royal kingdom..one i.e. without deception and hypocrisy... but only the truth..

Goodbye RP

It has really been sometimes since i last log in. And after this blog i dunno when will my next one be.

Finally goodbye to rp.. Thanks to all in rp :) Will miss irene my partners for these 7 mths..we have been through ups n downs together.. we come together and we go together.hee.. right will remember the bubble tea, bookshop ladies, cleaners, security guards.. and all the angels out there..

no time for long blog..
see all again..
hopefully i got a labtop soon.. :p

Breakthrough followed by weekends

My original plan for the day was to work half day till 12pm, head for lunch, give tuition at 2pm for my little cousin nana. And at 4pm , i shall end it and it will also be a time to meet aunti kim, jia jun (my cousin), and my mum.. coz i have already planned that we all meet together and headed for Pastor Lim Gee Tiong's concert..(inclusive of Aunti Yin, sabrina's mum)..

Waking up for the day, I realised i was too weak physically for work, burdened with the stubborn cough and dreadful sore throat..(and somemore i got to use my voice in my work) a I decided to go and see my company doctor and take mc for the day..and i called off my tuition..

I rest till 3pm ++ to get my strength and make my way to meet Aunti Kim and Jia Jun to proceed to meet aunti yin and nana and my mum..for the Pastor Lim Gee Tiong's concert..i was actually still in a daze after taking medicine feeling very tired.. but i knew i have to hang on knowing the importance of my mission tonight..

To my wonderful surprise, mummy, aunti kim and aunti yin were saved!! At that instance, i know all my struggles with sickness and tiredness have not gone into waste..Praise the Lord!! You are great! This is really a miracle!! For those who know my family background you will agreed that this is a miracle!! and i just have a clearer picture how evil the devil is..he purposely make me sick for one week and preventing good things from happen.. he is here to steal and kill..i am determined to be stronger.. ! (Anyone out there struggling with anything, pray in the name of Jesus and don't give up :)

Father, give me health as you said that above all things it is your desire to see your creation propser in health and in soul and to do well.. do not let the devil to steal and kill.. and i pray that to anyone who read this that they too will propser in health and soul and do well in life.

After service, i meet up with pei and we have lunch at chong pang market..after which we proceeded to bishan to meet yin..after walking a while we went to cafe cardel ..shortly after man came.. and we went to see see look look again. after that we went for our dinner and headed home...

The Gateau Affairs

The best thing about this show is that you can see lotsa beautiful cakes and at certain times there are inspiring moments..

However i felt that the the chemistry between molie n joe was so so and everything happens too fast and the happenings were mostly expected..

anyway its still watchable as its simple and sweet..
