Waking up for the day on last Saturday 6 May 2006, I am excited. I crawled out of my comfortable bed lazily n excitedly as mummy asked me to wash up quickly..
It will be my 1st time to vote for election!! Somehow knowing that I have a part in what I would say one of the most important event in Spore, the very place which I was borned, I felt honoured..even though I was'nt really clear..not clear my votes should throw at which parties..I heard too much stories...not clear hw's the procedure like..not clear who will be there exactly..will there be two parties standing in between..?
I have never been a person who has shown much interest in politics..(even in elsewhere) Election '06 has forced me to look at the news intently with interest sometimes because I have to vote...and I know every votes count...and I wanted to be fair to a certain extent...even though fairness is hard to measure sometimes.. I wanted to put a null void, but I dun want to waste the privellege of having able to vote n there being my 1st time.
Anyway after i finished the morning daily routine, mummy n chen sitong n i set off to woodlands ring sec school. (Mummy n i wear the same slippers.)
The small paper was passed to me to cross the party i want to support. I actually look a bit left n right to check if anyone was looking at me in casting my vote :p i suppose that was uncooled..hee..
After which, mummy n chen sitong n i went to the nearby coffee shop for meal whose business i suppose was exceptionally good..
Went home after that..
