Blue Laser

Meet Pei after work today at Ang Mo Kio. She accompanied me to the BCNG laser and medical aesthetics for my acne laser treatment.

I was then introduced to serene and Dr cindy.. so cute.. dr cindy was not the usual serious kind of doctor..it seemed like her hair was all made over (nicely coloured with red) and she wore a low cut sexy dress..with coloured share nails..

i was very hungry during the 1 hr blue laser treatment.. which was surpose to reduce my oil level at dermis and hypodermis ... while i lay there for one hour i can also imagine pei must be very hungry then..as she walked around the vicinity (serene also applied antibiotics on my face before i was under the laser light..

soon 1 hr was up. pei was already back by then..she bought me a swiss roll!! anyway i bought a bottle of multi-vitamins consisinting of B-complex, vit c, vit E, and zinc.. together with the laser bill. after which we went to lau pa sat..

we were so hungry!! hui called me shortly after and she joined us pretty soon..she was so tired..i ordered sweet and sour fish, pei ordered zhu za tang, hui ordered guey zap..

after which we took the train back home..
and hopefully everyone have a good rest sleep for the night..
i think i did..

The following for your reading pleasure if you are interested :

The B vitamins promote healthy nerves, skin, eyes, hair, liver, gastrointestinal tract, and brain function. The B vitamins are also coenzymes involved in energy production. B Complex is important for elderly people and a deficiency can mimic Alzheimer's disease.*

Vitamin C performs hundreds of functions in the body. It is crucial for the production of antibodies, strengthens connective tissues, helps reduce the duration and severity of a cold, assists with wound healing, and protects other vitamins from oxidation.*

Vitamin E, or tocopherol, is an anti-oxidant that prevents the fats and fat-soluble Vitamin A stored in the body from breaking down and combining with other substances that may be harmful to the body. It also protects red blood cells from rupturing

Zinc is required for the production of both RNA and DNA, the basic building blocks of the body. It assists the body in making the 200+ enzymes and is essential in the development and continuous normal functioning of the central nervous system. Zinc also plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.*

My Weekends

Saturday

The last weekend seemed to fly fast. I was working on Saturday actually and was thankful that it was a half day and my health was getting better. A sense of contentment was in me to know there will be sweet and sour fish rice waiting for me when I reached home. (Papa bought one) At least, there was something to look forward to.

Time went fast. Strike one and I packed off to leave the working place. Brother and father were at home. There was not only sweet and sour rice, there was also Ee mee. I bought them all into my bedroom and set them onto my so call small dinning table and watch ‘Beauty and War’ (Jin Zhi Yu Nie) with a bottle of honey that was good for throat and with my air-con on. (Only occasionally)

Ironically, in such a relaxing ambience, and in the comfort of my bed after I finished my lunch, I was watching such a heavy show. Was a bit tired in catching the words by words politics between ‘liang liang’ and ‘gong nui’.. and even eunuch. (But I do felt that the script was beautiful sometimes)Perhaps I was tired, I fell asleep soon, wrapping myself with blankets and lying with my pillows entering into a dreamland. (Even though I knew it was so ‘sinful’ to sleep shortly after a meal. But thinking that my pillows and I have been missing each other, and thinking that I will run productively next week, I rewarded myself with such simple joyous gift.

Don’t ever underestimate what a sleep can do for you. I felt my heaty level in body dropped after my one hour sleep. Ulcer seemed to be better too and my mood was good. After which, I wash my clothes and read the newspaper. It was a leisure to me.

Soon, it was five. Time to meet pei at admiralty mrt. Together we meet man at Yishun and proceeded to kovan and headed to ‘xin wang cha can ting’ for a meal. This was the 2nd time I went to Xin Wang. (The 1st time I went to the branch at Marina Square.) I knew some people like the place some people dun like.. some people like the food some people likes the drinks whereas some people like the drink but don’t like the food.. I felt that I enjoyed the HK ice milk tea there although comparatively, not as authentic. But for the bo lo bao that I ordered, I am not very impressed. Fried chicken was normal. Anyway I still like the place a lot because I like the idea of cha can ting. But I knew pei and man felt that the food cannot make it and poor them as they were sort of accompanying me as I was the one who suggested it.

After our meals we went to see see look look walk walk. Even though Heartland Mall seemed small there were quite a few cute stalls around. I saw a brown top which got ‘air’. I felt tempted to buy it at the 1st glance.

After which we took bus to Ang Mo Kio we sat down again to have drinks. Reached admiralty at about 11am plus. Since there was pasam malam, I see see look look walk walk again. Reached home at about 11.45pm.

A simple yet relaxing Saturday with close friends. My thanks for you father.

Sunday:

The day was so comfortable. My bed was cool and I felt cool. Waking up for the day, I started it with 2 breads with butter and jam and hot hot teh si. While eating, I continued to watch ‘War and Beauty’. This particular episode was nice and I enjoyed it. After which , I set off to prepare to go to church.

Service was real and thought-provoking. I felt touched that day. Had always appreciate Pastor Rony’s sincerity.. I can feel his disturbance, stress and his love for the congregation and people.

I knew Father you are around at all times!
I walked out of church feeling the peace and feeling empowered, knowing that your light is upon me.

After which I walked towards Admiralty station going to Marina Bay to meet steph and kelly. Glad I am able to reach there before two. Met the 2 of them and song liang reached shortly after.. We were all wondering how the surprises will turn out to be..

Finally we saw the birthday gal of the day with liyi.. we were all hiding behind the grass with kelly holding on to the birthday cakes.. haha when it was getting excited the 2 gals went the other way.. so funny.. we had to get up and sort of to call them. They managed to see us. hee. we mum mum, fly kite, play zero point and hotscotch after which..It was fun!! And certainly a good workout. Happy birthday Ting! God bless you.

As I have to rush to aunti lan's place for family gathering and niece Xiang Ling Irish birthday celebration, I could not join the gals and song liang for ice cream ..

The occasion was at Hougang. was there at about 8.25pm. The place was full of small little ones, medium ones, big ones.. Glad to see my relatives..auntis uncles and cousins..nieces.. Am thankful that i have nice relatives .. I enjoyed the bbq chicken, satay, bee hoon, fried rice, chicken curry and many others..cooked by my uncle mostly..always felt he is a good cook! (if not wrong he really used to be chef..)

Left the place at around 9 plus. I enjoyed the day..and was thankful for it.

I enjoyed my weekends.

Premenusration Syndrome

Felt very tired these few days..and particularly today dun feel like talking..perhaps have not been feeling well recently..with my flu, throat and ulcer..and right now is premenustation process..that means fatigue, breakout, water retention, bloatedness, and cramps.. and also moodiness..

Forgive me ok to all around me.. if i look super sian.. I have copy and paste the following from a website link :

(Yeah...perhaps I should look on the bright side..tomoro is weekend..)

What are the most common symptoms?

Whilst many women do not suffer PMS, others may suffer one or more of the following symptoms:

Emotional Symptoms:
irritability
anxiety
nervous tension
mood swings
lower coping ability
depression
aggression
difficulty concentrating
lower libido, rarely increased libido
feeling unloved
wanting to be alone
reduced interest in work and social life
Physical symptoms
Fluid retention (swollen fingers or ankles)
bloating around the abdomen
breast swelling and tenderness
headaches ranging from mild to a severe migraine
tiredness, lethargy, insomnia
increase in weight
constipation
food cravings especially sweet foods
aches and pains particularly lower back, legs and abdomen
poor coordination or clumsiness
skin problems such as acne
occasionally increased energy

How do you tell if your symptoms are PMS?

Whether you suffer one or a few of the above symptoms, it is the timing of the symptoms that will indicate whether or not you are suffering PMS. Symptoms due to PMS will only occur after ovulation (mid-cycle) and will disappear during the next menstrual period. Mark your symptoms on a calendar or keep a daily menstrual chart over two to three months to help your doctor with the diagnosis.

Lifestyle factors that may help towards relieving your PMS symptoms

Eat regular, healthy meals including plenty of vegetables, fruit, mixed grains and cereals

Eat small meals to maintain stable energy levels, this will also significantly reduce food cravings

Drink less caffeine – particularly if you are suffering breast tenderness. Try drinking water instead! (6-8 glasses a day)

Cut down on alcoholic beverages

Cut down on salt and salty foods to help reduce fluid retention

Get enough rest, sleep and exercise

Don’t smoke

Wear a well fitting cotton bra if you suffer tense, painful breasts.
Exercise
Regular exercise is important, particularly during the premenstrual phase. Walking is an excellent form of exercise and has the advantage of being both cheap and easy for most people. Swimming, yoga, aerobics, netball, tennis, golf and cycling are other suggestions. Make sure you choose a form or variety of exercise you enjoy – otherwise you will not pursue it.Exercise increases endorphins (one of the brain’s neurotransmitters, or chemicals, which decrease premenstrually in PMS sufferers) and therefore may reduce symptoms. Endorphins also act as natural pain killers and help you to feel more relaxed and in control.

Reduce Stress

Make an effort to avoid extra stresses (mark your premenstrual time on the calendar so that you can avoid major activities)
Talk to your family about your PMS so they can have some understanding of the problem. Help them develop strategies to be supportive during this time

Try not to take your aggression out on your family

Take time out to relax and enjoy your own interests

Try to develop your ‘positive’ thinking

Seek professional counselling

If your PMS symptoms continue to distress you, consult your doctor. It is important that other possible causes of the symptoms are excluded. Although no 'cure' can be offered there are many treatments that help reduce and, for some women, completely alleviate PMS symptoms. It may be necessary to try different treatments before you find the most effective one for you.

Treatment of PMS

Natural Therapies
Many women feel they benefit from a variety of natural therapies but none have been proven in controlled studies to be beneficial, their effects being no better than placebo, i.e. about 30-40%reductionin symptoms. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) has been used to reduce emotional symptoms and fluid retention but in doses no greater than 50-100mg per day as high doses can lead to peripheral neuropathy or loss of sensation in fingers and toes.Evening Primrose oil has been used to reduce breast tenderness in dosages up to 3000mg per day.St John’s Wort is a plant serotonin enhancer, which may reduce mood symptoms. Other preparations such as Chaste Tree have also been used.Talk to your doctor, naturopath or pharmacist about this group of medicines.

Hormonal Therapies

The combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) may be prescribed because it prevents ovulation and for some women this will provide relief from her symptoms. The monophasic pill (with the same hormone dose in each active pill) is more beneficial than other types such as either the triphasic or biphasic pills.Other hormone preparations have been tried such as progestins, progesterone and oestrogen preparations. Only oestrogen patches and implants have shown to be beneficial in controlled studies.

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI’s)

The SSRI’s have been studied extensively in placebo-controlled trials and have shown significant benefit in reducing symptoms, particularly the emotional symptoms. These medications increase serotonin in the brain and improve mood in particular. The medication may be taken cyclically (in the premenstrual week) or continuously. The most common SSRI is fluoxetine (one form is Prozac), but others also prescribed are sertraline (Zoloft) and paroxetine (Aropax). Many women take this therapy long term without adverse effects. The SSRI’s are the recommended treatment of choice.

Most women with PMS will respond to either the hormonal therapies or the SSRI’s but there is a small group of women who do not benefit. This group is most likely to have a disorder of mood rather than PMS and should seek specialist help.PMS is a distressing problem for a small number of women who have severe symptoms.

Conclusion

Unfortunately the cause(s) of PMS are largely unknown but there is more evidence to suggest there are changes in brain chemistry which trigger the symptoms experienced.
There is no "Quick Fix" or cure but there are many ways to help reduce the symptoms and improve quality of life.
Some women benefit from simply charting their symptoms and developing strategies to minimise stress, whereas others may reduce stress with an improved diet and exercise routine.
Other women will require prescriptive medicines such as hormonal therapies or the SSRI’s.

After Work

Went to wood groove with Rui En yesterday after a long day at work.. it was a day when i felt very tired yet dun want to go home as I have to settle my dinner outside.. (perhaps because of the ulcers..)

While Irene went to pluck her eye brows i went to explore the place.. Well i thought i will my role there was juz to see see look look walk walk..never did i expect myself to walk into ''forty winks..'' I did a 30 min scalp massage there ..for juz $13!! (Its having Worldcup Promotion) the dunno indo or thai lady also helped to do my tired shoulders, neck and hands.. i was just there , completely absorbed into the soothing ambience and enjoying the wonderful pain the massager inflicted upon me.. That was great.

After which we went to the hair salon as she wanted to cut her fringe.. I was there observing the surrounding and the skill of the hair stylist while eating away..

The cutting of fringe was fast.. we then went to dessert stall then upon seeing a poster of soy products.. saw a pair of nice glasses..white frame $90 ... tempted to buy. considering.. ahhh!!

Met bin bin on my way back. Long time no see..

Mouth Ulcers

As I am suffering from one painful and very much dreaded ulcer on the interior of my lower lips, thus I did a research on it. Found a website which wrote the following:
(Hope you find it enriching)

Why am I so prone to mouth ulcers?
A primary reason is stress and insufficient rest, for instance you're having too many late nights or you're working too hard. Stress causes your body's immune system to deal less well with bacteria, and there are plenty of bacteria in the mouth. People with chronic anemia, gastrointestinal disorders or constipation tend to get ulcers often

Can certain foods cause ulcers? There are people who get ulcers if they eat spicy food, or snack too much on salted nuts and potato chips. Ingredients in food preservatives, like benzoic or sorbic acid, can cause an allergic reaction that results in a mouth ulcer for some. Others may be sensitive to something in the food, such as gluten, or to citrus fruits like oranges and lemons, which may be too acidic for them.

How long should a mouth ulcer last?It should go away within one week. Any ulcer lasting longer than two weeks should be seen to by a doctor. He will probably prescribe topical steroids or oral antibiotics to treat the cause, not just the ulcer. Consult him, too, if you have more than four ulcers at any one time or if you get ulcers very often.

Besides stress, what are the other reasons? When the skin in your mouth is traumatised if you accidentally bite or cut your lip, for instance, or a toothbrush knocks against your gums. Ulcers can recur if you have metal braces or ill-fitting dentures, or if you have dental problems like a chipped tooth or uneven filling. Constant irritation is unhealthy, so see a dentist if these problems bother you

Is it normal to get two or three ulcers at a time? Most mouth ulcers appear singly, but occasionally they come in small clusters. The size of an ulcer can range from a pinhead to a five-cent coin. Ulcers stay in one place they are not infectious and they don¹t spread within the mouth. But it often happens that when you have an ulcer on the lip, say, you tend to bite the same spot because it¹s swollen. This can cause the ulcer to become bigger, or you can get another ulcer.

Do mouth ulcers appear only on the lips and gums?Ulcers can also appear on the tongue, inside the cheeks and even on the soft palate or roof of your mouth. Ulcers in these places tend to be more painful. How do I prevent mouth ulcers from recurring?Have adequate rest, avoid spicy foods, stay away from coffee these are just some of the steps to take if you always seem to be getting ulcers. When brushing your teeth, try not to be too vigorous, and avoid using a toothbrush with hard bristles. You can also boost your immune system by taking a Vitamin B complex.

What can I do to relieve the pain?Ulcers take about one or two weeks to heal completely but the pain mostly lasts just two or three days. For pain relief, try:

Glycerine it soothes the pain. Apply every hour or so.

Bonjela the cool gel may sting a little but it¹s a good antiseptic. Use every two or three hours.

Tea tree oil it soothes and helps prevent the ulcer from getting bigger. Pour a drop onto a cotton bud and apply on the area three or four times a day.

Listerine an effective anti-bacterial mouthwash. Wash as often as you can.

Choline Salicylate cream ask the pharmacist to recommend one. Apply on the fingertips and rub gently on the ulcer three or four times a day.

Wet teabags Tannin is mildly astringent and relieves pain apply on the ulcer.

Yoghurt it helps get rid of mouth bacteria. Look for one that'sunsweetened.

Vitamin C take 500 milligrams three times a day for three days at the first sign of a mouth ulcer.Avoid salty and acidic foods because they irritate the sore.

You should also take lots of fluids and get more rest.

See a doctor if:

The mouth ulcer is so severe that even taking fluids causes pain.

You have four ulcers or moreat the same time.

Your ulcers keep recurring.

The ulcer is painless yet doesn't go away it could be a symptom of cancer or syphilis, a sexually transmitteddisease.

Starting of the day

So happy that I did not drag myself to wake up later than 7.45am today as I always did that. Move myself up at 7.30am. I am able to prepare fast enough to have breakfast..without having to compromise my daily routine of preparation..

Mummy was up early too.. The 1st thing she did was - U-zap a mother's day gift to her.. Glad she used that because last time we bought her foot water therapy, it went into the storeroom to collect dust.. While i was about to leave the house, she was still there U-zapping watching Legend of the Condor Heros.. ( Its the Louis Khoo version.. Actually till date, I find Andy Lau's version still the best!)

I hope to start the day with grace, hope and joy...
Be it the same to you okay, you who are reading it now :)

La Femme Desperado

Ever wonder what is La Femme Desperado? Think it simply means desperate woman or direct translation from the above 女人唔易做 ..... (woman hard to be ...)

I started to watch 女人唔易做 beside I left for my Hk trip that time.. It was actually quite a new TVB drama that was still airing during that time..

Rented this piece of work was perhaps because of Melissa Ng and the theme 女人... and to be more exact modern 女人... When it was out at that time, not many people thought well of it as it seems a small scale production.. Haha, who knows , it do turns up well for the viewership in HK I heard..and that raised awareness..

Well its not those extreme highs and lows drama serial that wore you ups and downs..but its interesting in its own way.. as I felt that I relate to it in parts and little..

I have to say that Sheren Tang Sui Man did a good job of the potrayal of Hilda..a bossy yet caring boss..., a seemingly hard but soft woman inside ... Can't imagine if its other actress to protray this character cause I like Sheren Tang's air inside so much..

Was so happy that Melissa Ng could get the role of 'Ah Ling'.. She has an air of sophisication.. yet not quite intimidating..(Hope she will get more recognised soon.) But sometimes I do envy the superior and subodinate relationship of Hilda and Ling inside the show. Is it possible? Can you imagine the thoughts of staying at your superior's house overnight..or can you imagine you having a one night stand with your subodinate ex-husband who stepped on 2 boats... Or has any female boss teach you the art of wearing bra..?

Think Michael Tse (Xie Tian Hua) (Remember the bao ya lawyer he had acted in one of the TVB drama with Hacken Lee? Or anyone remember he played the bad guy in 1997 Snow Wolf Lake? ) suits the role of 'Ah Man' well... Its an encouragement to the bad boy out there.. Every good has bad ... Every bad has good...

Knew some of my friends like Raymond Lam (Ling Feng)..and might made noise ... I find him irritating..even though I think he played the childish yet smart Siu Chai well.. Don't know why..perhaps Ling Feng's look and the character of Siu Chai reminds me of someone that I shall not comment here.. Anyway guys out there...if you want to understand your gal friend or wife more , think you can observe the relationship of Siu Chai and Ling as an onlooker and think ... Go rent the show! (For the fashion sense inside too..)

P.S. Guys out there, heard that there's going to be a male version of La Femme Desperado ... Look out!!

My Hong Kong Trip 25-29 May 2006

2 weeks has passed since my Hk trip. I decided that it was time to record the wonderful experience I had.. No more procastination...

(More pictures coming up the coming blog...)

Day 1:

The day before I was busily packing my things..u name it I have it..Remember I was worried about my cleanser being dripped at that time..but somehow I find that lugguage was never really a big problem somehow just that I am lazy..(Maybe you who are reading are also like this..:P) Come to think of it, I have never forgotten to bring any major things when I knew I am suppose to be away from home..Sleep was brief..Body was ache..I slept at 2am and woke up at 3.30am..Sound farmiliar for Jetstar budget traveller..? Left home at 4.1oam so as to catch my flight at 6.40am..Soon I was out on street to look out for my booked taxi..Sky was real dark..felt scared and lonely..but I knew Jesus was with me..No thing to be scared of..Taxi driver was friendly..After checking in at Terminal one, shumin and I headed to mac cafe for breakfast and nyx and her friend went to have a drink. We went on separate ways..Time flies..we left the departure gate and boarded the plan..was a bit excited was a bit scared..the reminder of what happened in sept 1999..(I fainted on plane in sept 1999 from the flight back to Spore from Korea.. The kind where u often seen in drama..where the captain and stewardess tried to wake the victim..as dramatic as u can imagine..but thank God I never give my 1st kiss away :P) But this time I am determined to be an overcomer of my phobia for flimething gals..never wear heels when you are taking a plane..)Soon we were at Hong Kong International Airport!! Away from Singapore..meaning away from work, and the usual routine of life for a period of time..! We 3 bought the octopus card..entitle 2 airport express ride..and unlimited mtr travell for the 1st 3 days and and value of $20..(we took express ride from airport to kowloon..and mtr from there to Yau Ma Tei station.)
YMCA International was near Yau Ma Tei..We easily found our way there from the MTR..And one thing i noticed about the mtr in hk is that when one reached the final exit for a certain destination, to climb a staircase is unavoidable.. So can you imagin with my heels, and heavy lugguage and bag..how i climb up the ladder..all because I am such vain pot..! Serves me right..
I quickly settle my stuffs in the hotel (16-13)..right thing at the right place..rest for a while..and i went to 'tang cheng' for lunch with shumin..she said that it was famous and many celebrities have been there..(Located at Tsim Shat Shui) I was very hungry at that time and I just followed her..Ordered mango smoothie (coz the color was nice) and wanton noodle..For its the 1st time i made an exception ..coz i think since i m in hk maybe should give a try to their wanton..even though i was not impressed by it but I do think that its finely cooked..
After we finished the 1st meal we had in hk, we went on our separate ways..felt excited coz i am left on my own..it sure was a challenge to me because that was the 1st time I hit hk..not knowing hte routes, the buses, the mtr well enough..and further more, i need to brush up my cantonese..Precisely! All thesse were exactly the reason I found it so exciting..because there were so much to explore in the unkown..walking around in tsim shat shui, i am fansinated by the crowds, by the small shop, by the old buildings..the atmoshpere shall i say..Soon, Nyx called me to say that she will skipped her lunch and stayed in the hotel within..as she wanted to wait for kathy.. thus I bought some octopus ball and egg waffle back at the street since i was only 60% full at the same time..(the street was crowded..there were many nice shops..i saw a shop which sell bras with lotsa variety..
After I finshed with my so called win shopping or exploration..i went straight back to the hotel intending to pass the food to nyx..I went for a hot bath then..It was comfortable..
After which, I went down to the lobby to settle my keys.. in hk hotel guest would be encouraged to drop their key into the droplet as they will only give one key so that whoever is back can get it from the counter without having to wait for the others..anyway saw nyx and kathy..i joined them to go to Grand Stanford to look for the overseas fans who were helping to coordinate concert tickets and gather matters..
After we got our tickets, Nyx and I went on to explore the nearby areas. Nothing much actually..and we proceed to walk towards HK Collesium. It was during that time I finally got news from Eric. He was trying to find me and I was trying to find him..at last finally.. Eventually we all met at HK Collesium. That was the first time Nyx and Eric meet.. Shumin meet us there too..And that was also the first time Eric and Shumin meet.. (In the midst, I bought a terrible can drink which was rusty..and I threw it away without any hesitation..)
We were inside soon..I was feeling very excited despite my tiredness..because it has been 10 years. And this was the 1st time I stepped into HK Collesium .. a kind of simple dream for me when i was young..
Wow, V has a V look! That instant, the audience cheered and applaused! It seemed that we were all in a spaceship that arrived in the 90s. To me, it also meant my childhood memories..and also the time when I was still a teenager..Deeply truely madly, I was touched and proud to be a part of the concert Back For Love.. (Hacken Lee, Leo Ku, Gu Zu Lin, Lin Long Xuan, Chris Wong was there as performing guest too) Yes Leo sang that! Ai Yu Cheng! Yeah..He's cute at the same time.
(for those who are interested to watch a concert and wanting to shoot video clip, be alert! a gal was being chased out in the midst of the concert because of that..but think taking picture will be okay.)
After the concert..its part of a rountine to move forward to a set up rails for fans..It seemed arranged ...an add on session of shaking hands with the fan..I felt that it V's way of expressing her appreciation for her fans.. She aknowleged my presence in the midst of fans.. :p (One interesting thing was that all the people who were at the rails were all adults not the usual 13 14 teens..Can you imagine a group of working adults standing at the railways?) The waiting was long as there were reporters interviewing her i supposed. In the midst i saw tiff!! we met)
As Nyx got back to Hotel 1st, there were only Shumin and me to take cab back to hotel..it was late..but we were both hungry yet tired..Thus we went to da bao food back to the hotel. I went into this cha can ting whereby I am captured by its London look..Felt that I am a wandered artiste when i went in. (Shumin went to the other cha can ting) After we got our food, we went straight back to the hotel and slept after eating our supper..It was around 3.30am..

Day 2

Woke up at around 9.30am..I felt cold..Quickly,I went to wash up and prepared myself for another exciting day.. Told myself that I gotta hit shopping and have a good meal..As Shumin already have in mind what to do and where to go in the early part of the day, thus I will meet up with Eric and Nyx... But before we set off for the day, we went to 2282..That was my 1st interaction with Winter. She helped me took a very nice picture :) Love it man!!
After my usual preparation routine, I started the day with a breakfast with Nyx..I remembered that the uncle who was taking order was a bit impatient and irritated when I could not made up my mind what do eat. He walked off..and think he came back to the table after i called him..But he remarked ,'' Be quick!" Wow that's really attitude..But I think i can take it because this is basically not my very own homeland..although I felt embarassed.. Anyway food arrived slow and I realised that in Hk the food arrived a bit slow usually. (I ordered macaroni with ham and egg and a cup of milk tea.)
After which we meet Eric at the MTR. Our 1st stop was Wang Jiao Zhong Xin. We decided a meeting place and a meeting time and went our separate ways to explore the place. Kelly was right..I like the place. Many small pretty shops..many.each is unique in its own way..And most of them you can bargain. I bought 2 pieces of 1 piece dress which i hardly find one that i like in spore for about $30 (sing dollars) That's a good bargain right? The salesgals were friendly and I was so happy that I took a picture with them. After which I looked around for shoes, long necklance and many others..my heart really crave for a shoes that time because i am still wearing the heals..tired..but unfortunately i did not find one that gave me the thought to use $$ to exhange..there was this uncle who was irritated when I tired some of the shoes and did not buy in the end..its all shown on his face..eventually i just walked out of his shop..Then in the midst of my contineous shopping, i suddenly realised that i lose the 2 pieces of dress that i just bought.. and during that time Judy called me to discuss about the meeting time for her to pass Ah C cds ..Think was a bit so call paranoid that I could not talked to her really much at that time..I was a bit gang jong(time was also up as i am supposed to meet nyx and eric)..as i felt that i cannot let the lost of 2 newly bought dress to be true..thus despite my tired legs, I went to search for it at all possible shops with all of my heart. To my once more embarassment, it was at the mentioned irritated uncle's shoe shoe. The very instance i stepped into his shop once more, he gave me my plastic bag of dress gentlemanly. I felt the need to buy shoe from him for his honesty..but frankly i found it hard to buy because i think its simply not suitable for me(in another word 'cannot make it'). He shooed my out in the end.. when i m stuck.. After which, I went to meet Nyx..(Guess not as good a shopper as me, Eric was probably bored by our supposed to be 1 and half hour shopping at wang jiao zhong xin..within that time..he has already visited ladies st and temple st..) And we went to Ting Wah as she wanted to check out something there. After i finished exploring the place, I spotted a nice place to take picture thus i snapped my camera..At that instance, a security stopped me nicely and told me that picture taking was not allow..But perhaps due to my good attitude, he advised that I could take picture without stepping into the vicinity..he helped me to take some and we chatted for about 15 minutes while waiting for nyx..This duration, i came to know that he was a chinese lecturer before and he was having some communication problem with his wife and his sons who were all Christian.. I prayed that Father you will bless the family..and strengthen their ties ..For I know you hate divorce.
Nyx and I went to Xu Liu Shan to have dessert after which..I have already decided that this would be a place I have to visit..Anyway I have forgotten the name of the dessert i ordered...but it filled with real mangoes..and have good mango pudding plus a large portion of milk element and of course there were other ingredients..So you can imagine how much i enjoyed..as far as i could remember nyx ordered something which has bird nest and xue har..
After which, we went to the nearby ladies st. Same as before, we decided a meeting place and time and we went on our separate ways. Ladies st was just like a bigger version of singapore's bugis village, with bigger crowds and daring bargains. You can find clothes, shoes, sunglass, antique, fans, chopstick, dice, majong etc there. I bought tea cup with for my father..and bought a special hair clip with strips of shiny bead for my mum..at 1st the sales person wants to sell it at 45 hkd..but i told her that i will only accept it at the price of 30 hkd and below..and i think i changed my mind and fixed it at 25hkd and below..that very instance, she tired to persuade me to let her earn $5..and i in turn asked her to let me saved $5..After which, I told her its ok..and with all of my heart, i gave up the thought of buying that..then suddenly she quickly wrapped the hairclip with newspaper and said that its a deal..then i asked her so is it for 25 hkd? and she replied , '' Just my luck to run onto you!''. I felt weird and was thinking then don't sell it to me lor..but at the same time i bought it coz i thought that was a good deal.. (but well later on , my friends who were residing at hk told me that it could even be as lower as 10hkd after taking a look at the hairclip..so a piece of advice for those who wants to go to ladies street : these people are trained..so be trained too! )
Time flied fast. Half the day was gone. We went back to the hotel. Nyx to take a rest..for me its rest and to prepare a letter for v. Soon it was time for shumin me and nyx to take cab to go to hk collesium..it was so rush that i took hotdog burger with a vitasoy(wei ta nai) that i liked.(cannot be found in spore) remembered that i was so hungry at that time.. I quickly finished it outside the vicinity of hk collesium as i dread the thought of being chased out for eating food..but amazing thing was ice cream was sold there..so by right eating was allowed while waiting for concert to start..i thought i should have brought in my food..
Anyway as the concert started , the audience wowed and cheered as usual! One thing different from the 1st night concert was that there were new performing guest artistes. At the earlier part of the concert Ah lam (Lin Zi Xiang was there) v and him sang 'sometimes when we touched' Thought ah lam was cool.. he put the audience on good cheer.. shortly after, vivian was on stage again. she was emotional..cried at the early part of the concert beyond her control. my tears dropped uncontrollably somehow..as i witness her performance and growth for each of us over the years..many beautiful memories.. when she sang 'ru guo ni zhi wo ku zhong' a song written by leslie chong, the atmosphere was emotional..its a 90s time pieces of music..everyone applaud at the this song with regconition..
Samuel chio was there too! I seemed to have my dream fufiled! He sang 'xiang ni xiang de hao gu ji'..i wonder how many of the teens nowadays know this songs..its one of my favourite piece in the 90s..Different from 2nd night, lin long xuan sang 'ni na me ai ta'..(on the 1st night he sang the 2 pieces of songs written for v 'jin zai bu yan zhong' and 'xin shi chong chong') that was impressive ..the ways he played the piano..at that instance, it was so beautiful that everyone dropped their camera and looking at him with his piano would be enough to be satisfied..but of course the female lead of the day, v's piano was more class and beautiful!a pink coloured transparent piano that can fight with the one jay chou's had at his concert.. Again Leo sang 'Ai Yu Cheng'.. i was happy to hear it again..
Overall the concert again was a success..filled with love and warmth..same as usual, after which, the fans waited for her..a whole group of working adults.. anyway the waiting time was shorter comparatively..and i managed to pass my letter to her.. as she gave me a firm handshake, said 'hey hi! and thank u 2 times' looking at me sincerely with aknowledgement..
I was happy..Anyway we were all hungry..And Shaun brought us to this da pai dang for supper..located at Tsim Shat Tsui..Laid back..smoky place yet gave the fragrance of food. I instinctively knew that Shumin won't like it somehow and moreover she seemed to be in a bad mood..And i was correct..she told us that she will buy food from other places and come back again. But eventually she bought the food and head straight back to hotel. Thus left me, nyx and shaun.. We ordered chu cha.. By the time we reached home , it around 3am.

Day 3

Woke up at around 9am. As usual Shumin has planned her own itineries..Thus again me nyx shaun and eric went for a quick drink at one of the cha can ting..and we walk towards Mongkok for our Dim Sum.. Was very hungry that time..And i think i definitely beat the other three.. i ate the most.. (the session was a bit quiet to what i feel..dunno whether everyone were just engrossed in eating or because everyone just got to know everyone.) But think i should thanks everyone for i love to shoot photo on food and all gotta wait for me too shoot the food before they can go yummy !:p
After which we all meet up with Shumin and we hit the cd store which sells a lot of old cds. I suppose its a productive trip for some of us..Half the day was gone..we went back to the hotel to put our things and to catch up with rest.Soon evening came and the time for us to set off came. Nyx me and eric we took a MTR to Tsim Shat Tsui and walked to the 'Xin Guang Da Dao''.. A so call open space star gallery concept by the open sea..eric and i were such a vainpot that we wanted to post and take picture..thus poor nyx looked after our bags for us.. Dunno why..time always seems so rush..no wonder people say time is precious ..both me and eric could not afford to take picture with all the statue and foot print..as we are racing with time with a hungry stomach and a concert.. thus we walked from 'xin guang da dao' to metropolis which was just opposite hk coliseum..there was'nt much choice..food court was unreasonable and only mac around.therefore nyx and eric bought mac and i bought my favourite vitasoy..and artificial 'shao er' .we bought all our food to hk collesium..i sat with nyx, shumin , a male hk fan and mm..somewhere quite near the stage..everyone knew that the night marked the last night for ' Back for love' 2006.. Well many times, we really do not know when and where will we marked the last stage of things.. When is it really a last time..?or will things be contineous? A night of sincerity and warmth, v once again touched us..she added two songs which she did not sing during the 1st 2 nights..'River Red Valley' and "liu lian'..There was also an additional getting near audience session ..and 2 encores instead of the usual one.. She cried 4 times during different parts of the concert.. The very moment joe was on stage with her..there were envy and gladness in me.. I hope she will be happy..and i hope maybe one day i too will find my special someone who will also brave the storm with me with joy, with passion, with loves, with surprises, with truth.. Anyway by the time she sang 'ru guo ni zhi wo ku zhong' everyone was either crying with tears or crying in the heart. We sang along as she placed her mike in audience direction..Audiences were participative! It was a memorable night for all..(I heard that linda wong vivian lai liu xiao hui tang baoru and calvin soh from grasshopper..People from my era : still remember them..remember polygram? ) even though everyone can't get enough, we all knew that all concert has an end despite 2 encore or despite any no. of encores..With lotsa memory and will be missed by everyone...the concert ended..well done v!
After the concert, we went to the celebration session (qing gong yan) ..only fans who have tickets can go in..thankful that i had made up my mind to go since 2 months back then..or else i might be ended up with no tickets.. going to the qing gong yan was an unique and special experience for me.. There were many many reporters, some sponsors, restaurant worker, committee, many fans..etc everyone wants a piece of her..and some want some piece from leo.. as leo and gu zu lin were there too.. qin gong yang started with a one hour plus interview..shortly after which i saw v took a quick bite at the buffet food..she did not eat much..and she had to sign autograph and take picture with the sponsor and the worker of the restaurant..(I think personal one) after which she had to proceed from table to table to take picture with every fans.there were many tables and each table have about 8 pax.. soon our turn came.. (i got to know some new friend and one of them was nai nai..) V took the initiative to say hello to me!! She told me not to worry and assured me that she has received shumin and my letter..time were rushed..i could out talked much to her..turn for next table..Anyway when it was the time for her to leave, fans were lined in 2 with a gap in between with security guards for her to walk.. Again she tried her very best to shake hands to everyone she can reached..and when she walked passed me..she gave me a very firm one and said ' Take plane back lah' in cantonese..i could'nt really understand when she said that(being a non cantonese)..it was shumin who heard what v told me.. I am contented even though i did not managed to take a picture personally with her..
We reached hotel at about 3am plus..

Day 4

I wake up rather early considering that i slept quite late the night before.. Went to the nearby church..Thank God it was just crossing a road from YMCA International. Before I came to HK i was still troubled about where to find a nearby church..one that was near to HK.. God is good!! A helpful brother helped me to take a picture..Its such a blessing.. After I walked out from the church, the rain started.. Thank God. Kathy and mm walked pass..at the right time and right place.. They were such a blessings.. mm sheltered me and we chat about the concert along the way..
When I reached the hotel i quickly tidied myself up for i always felt untidy after rain.. Soon it was time to meet tiff and judy..met tiff at mongkok mtr and we go to a restaurant for lunch and its also a meeting place for judy. we 3 ordered some dishes and rice.. After which the nice tiff and nice judy took me to buy poster rack cover, chu qian yi ding instant noodles.. and because there were so many things to carry , they followed me back to the hotel.. After we finally loaded our stuff..time for food and makan again.. Tiff and me went to causeway bay 1st while judy went to settled something..
1 hr later judy catch up with us.. we had our dinner at one of the foodcourt. we also did some shopping before that. The place was crowded..we had a good chat..and after which we went to eat 'dun nai' and forgot its tiff or judy who eat 'dun dan' . these were nice dessert which is nutricious and good for skin.. we bump into Yip Poon Man who was also there to eat dessert. she wore sunglass and was low profile.. i never knew that she was a celebrity..until tiff told me.. and the worst was i never know shumin likes her.. as in fact after yip poon man left, 5 to 10 min later, i met shumin nyx and shaun.. (well for me someone who never knew who yip was and for shumin who hoped to see her in person for years..lol u can imagine)
After all of us meet up, we went to Joe Billaries..sometimes we had a 1 hr plus game.. and i had a chat with Christina..the cleaner there..was glad that we made a trip there. we went back to hotel after which..
I slept at about 4.30am with all the packings to be done and my make up to be removed..was so tired and don't really want to face the reality of going back to singapore ..knowing that i have to catch my flight early in the morning..

Day 5 :

Wake up real early and with all of my strenght i managed to transfer all my stuff from hotel to taxi..from taxi to airport..from airport to plane..from plan to Changi Airport ... from Changi Airport to Woodlands Ring Road..
Eveyone was tired for the day...
I am glad to see the photos that was developed..
I enjoyed my trip.
